What a fun day! And how lucky were we that the rain waited until we were out of the pool?

Thanks to all the mums and dads (and baby brothers!) who came out to support us at our very first swim gala. We had a great time playing games at nine different stations. Before we left school, we also had fun following along with what the older children were doing at swim gala through Twitter.

We have been having so much fun in our swimming lessons and are excited to show off our skills this Friday at the Elementary School Swim Gala. Last week, Denzil's mum kindly took some videos to document the progress we are making. Enjoy! 

Since we came back from the March holiday, our PE lessons have changed into swimming lessons! Today we had our second swimming session. We are learning different swimming techniques, like how to float, kick, and move our arms one at a time to move forward in the water. We are having so much fun in the water with our swim coaches Mr. Nathan, Mr. Dino, Mr. Cameron, and Mr. Jimmy. We have also been doing drawn and written reflections in our journals about our experiences. We can't wait to show you all our new swimming moves at the Swim Gala celebration on May 23!
