As a class, we read stories about the numbers one through 10. Through the stories we learned about symbols that represent the numbers and how to form the numbers. Johnny loved these stories and wanted the review work to be included in his portfolio. He selected this piece because: "I like how I draw and there's 7 colours in the rainbow so we drew a rainbow."
Johnny can identify numbers up to 100. He is continuing to consolidate number sequences and has been concentrating on numbers in the teens. Here he is with Daniel, figuring out the numbers before and after a number in the teens.
Johnny has been working on consolidating his alphabet knowledge and gaining confidence to apply it consistently in his writing.
