Axel has worked hard at learning how to form numbers all year long. He often practices during them during his free playtime using the whiteboards and whiteboard markers to show what he can do. Axel can now write the numbers one to five confidently. Well done Axel! You showed a lot of commitment and responsibility towards your own learning!
Here is Axel's number writing at the beginning and end of the year: This week we measured our heights for the very last time in K1. We noticed that once again, we had all grown taller! We reflected individually and as a whole class on the changes that had happened. We also made comparisons between each other's heights using math vocabulary, like taller and shorter.
